"Robin and Lea describe their Vibrant Futures project as “a film…a fictional mini-series about a tree-dwelling community living in giant redwoods that experience a rebirth of consciousness.”  Episode one, a full forest of characters stacked up among leaves enclosing woods, includes a number of bodies in question, in a tree, eating away at the strict fictiveness of a very beautiful, immersive fiction. Vibrant Futures does the social bud wound and blossoming into people, the pinecone economy, and the people-animal."
